Doing the Everest Base Camp trek has been the single most incredible experience I have ever done in my life so far. It demands from every inch of your body, both physical and mentally, and gives you the opportunity to learn about your limits and how far you can push yourself. The rewards from this experience are as big and beautiful as the breathtaking landscapes that surrounds you the entire time. Thank you for every single one at Take on Nepal for providing such beautiful memories – your support and kindness will forever stay in my mind. Your smile kept me going.

My experience volunteering and trekking with take on nepal has exceeded all of my expectations and been extremely incredible, this would of course not have been possible without my amazing guide Mane and all of the take on nepal team! I have now come to feel that nepal is like a second home to me and the friendships I’ve made will last a life time. I can’t recommend take on nepal more and can’t wait to return in the near future.

What an absolutely amazing experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with Take on Nepal! It was challenging and tough – without the support, expertise and assuredness of the TON staff, our group’s trek would not have been such a success. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to get to know all the staff (guides, training guides and porters) as friends even before our trek began. After my time with TON, I would definitely return to Nepal in a heartbeat to trek more of this wonderfully beautiful country.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp has been my dream for many years and I have absolutely no regrets in my choice to trek with Take On Nepal. Not only were the staff experienced, knowledgeable and professional, but they were also caring and supportive. I saw many other large trekking groups with only one guide, meaning less attention was given to each client’s needs. We, on the other hand, had enough staff with us to ensure that everyone felt looked after at all times, no one had to walk alone if they were far behind or in front, and measures were taken if people got sick to ensure them recovery and a successful completion of the trek. It was a truly amazing, once in a life time journey and I know it would not have been so positive if I had gone with anyone other than Take On Nepal.

I can honestly say that trekking to Everest Base Camp was one of the most incredible things I have ever done. Before commencing the trek we were told that a successful trek to EBC is reliant on ones mental and emotional resilience. As we trekked it became increasingly obvious to me that the mental side of the Everest game was something that could only be managed through the help of the people around me. The Take On Nepal team was there for myself and the group every step of the way and the relationship and bond we shared with them was something that went above and beyond what we saw amongst other trekkers and there guides. I plan on returning to Nepal in the near future and will definitely be trekking with the TON team again.

We chose Take On Nepal after hearing about them through family. What a fantastic choice it was for our family. There has been a personal touch in all aspects of our dealing with them from early conversations, booking and then throughout our time in Nepal. We were met at the airport and efficiently taken to our Hotel. We were taken around Kathmandu and assisted with all our needs. Once we started our Everest View trekking, we were looked after brilliantly. Take On Nepal ensure that their staff get to know you, provide support and encouragement and maintain a sense of humour too. I cannot speak highly enough about the guides and porters, they are wonderful young people, eager to assist and very supportive. It was such a delight to not have to worry about bookings, meals or rest stops. Everything was organised for us and around our needs. Thank you so much for everything. We can hardly wait to join Take On Nepal again in the future and catch up with you all again.

Take on Nepal was a life changing experience. Som and his awesome team of guides took us to some epic places but, more than this they showed us the real nepal. From spending time with local farmers, to hanging out with the village children from Batase. It was so much more than a trail running experience. Still, the Langtang area which, is less travelled, provided days and days of challenging trails and jaw dropping scenery. If theres anything worth doing in 2018, it is going to Nepal with the 'Take on Nepal' team. Lived it. Loved it.

I already visited almost 20 countries but this trip in Nepal was definitely the best, combining the passion for travelling and for running. Nepal offers an amazing opportunities for mountain lovers. The trail organized at beautiful non touristic locations was a real challenge. Som and his team know how to make you feel comfortable while pushing your motivation to maximum during the race. Every running day full of emotions was finished by a good dinner in front of the tea hourse’s fire. Many thanks to Som for this organisation and his big heart that he gives to Friends of Himalayan children and his guests. Thank you to Dinesh to created a crazy daily ambiance and for his exceptional talent of cook. Thank you girls Phulmaya, Samjhana and Anjana for their good mood and friendship. After 2 weeks in Nepal, I coming back not only with completed challenge but also with plenty of exceptional people as friend.
