The Take on Nepal team will meet you at the airport and transport you to your accommodation at Hotel Lo Mustang in the tourist district of Kathmandu.

Today is a day to do as you choose, the team will be on hand to provide support if required. You may want assistance to do some sightseeing or shopping!

After breakfast you will be met at your hotel by your guide, from there you will drive approx 45 minutes to the outskirts of Kathmandu where you will begin your hike to Chisopani.
You will stop for lunch along the way. Tonight you will sleep in a trekking lodge in Chisopani. On a clear day you will have spectacular views of the Langtang Himalayan Range on your hike.

After breakfast you will be begin the lovely walk to Batase, this is a nice hike that begins with a downhill walk to Patybanjang before you start the gentle uphill to Batase village.

It’s a lovely feeling to arrive in Batase. In the evening you will go to the hostel where you will meet the children and learn about the work of Friends of Himalayan Children Inc.

You will stay in the volunteer house where you will be nice and comforable

Today you will wake up to the sounds of villagers starting their day and the animals waiting to be fed!

After breakfast you will visit the hostel children and then walk to school with them. You will spend time at the school and will return to the volunteer house for lunch.

After lunch you will have the choice to either return to the school or have a tour of the village. In the evening you will spend time with the hostel children, you can assist them with their evening chores (cutting grass, feedling animals, preparing food).

Today will be similar to yesterday, your time will be spent with the school children and hostel children.

After breakfast a 4WD will take you down to windy mountain back to Kathmandu. This 4WD journey is an experience in itself!

You will be sad to say goodbye to the beautiful villagers but also excited for the next part of your journey.
