After your breakfast a 4WD will be ready to drive you to Batase Village. The drive to the village will take approx. 3-4 hours depending on traffic.
You will have lunch in the small town of Melamchi before making your way up to Batase. Upon your arrival in Batase you will settle into your accommodation and then Som will give you a small tour of the village.

After your breakfast you will either visit Batase School or begin work on the designated project.

In the afternoon you will spend time with the hostel children, you may assist them with their daily chores (collecting grass to feed the animals, food prep) After dinner you will return back up to the hostel to spend time with the children, this will be a highlight of your time in Batase village.

As with the previous day you will spend today either working on a project or down at the village school.
In the afternoon Som will be excited to take you on the short village tour, he will share his experiences, and the progress made with the support of the people of Cairns.
After dinner your evening will be spent up at the hostel with the children.

After breakfast the 4WD’s will take you back to Kathmandu, it’s a bumpy 4-5 hour journey but always a fun experience!

In the evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner with your guide and group members.You will be provided with a comprehensive briefing at the welcome dinner. Exciting times ahead!
