This is an absolutely perfect trek for anyone who has dreamed of seeing Mount Everest up close but who may be time restricted. It’s also a perfect trek for families and for people who worry about altitude sickness.

The amazing 7 day trek starts and ends in wonderful Kathmandu. You will be inspired by the beauty of the mountains and by the kindness and resilience of the traditional people of the Everest region. An experience that you will not regret!

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival Day (1400m)

You will be met in Kathmandu by our happy and professional team members who will transfer you to your hotel. Be warned, our guides ask lots of questions! In the evening, our lovely guides will brief you on the magnificent trek that you are about to undertake. You will be excited about the adventure ahead!

Day 2: Kathmandu fly to Lukla (2800m) Trek to Phakding (2655m)

In the morning, group members will take a spectacular forty minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, This will be the most exhilarating flight of your life! Lukla is located at 2865m in the Khumbu region of Eastern Nepal. You will have awe inspiring views of the terraced landscape and river valleys below. After you arrive, your trek begins straight away with a lovely, short walk to Phakding. Words cannot describe the feeling you will have when you are there. Be prepared to be overwhelmed!

Day 3: Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3446m)

Today the real trekking begins as you walk through stunning forests filled with rhododendron, alongside a river named in Nepali as the “milky river” due to its milky colour from the flow of melting of the ice. The day's trek ends at Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is incredible - a trading town, the hub of the Everest region right there in the foothills of Mount Everest. It’s like something out of a movie!

Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m)

You will begin your trek with breathtaking, unforgettable views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Cholatse, Kantaiga, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. This will be a challenging day of walking. Expect plenty of ascents! You can do it!!

Day 5: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar

After your walk yesterday you will be delighted to know that it's a nice descent back down to Namche Bazaar. You will feel connected to nature as you walk through the beautiful forests of pine and see the gorgeous red rhododendron flowers in bloom.

You will stop for lunch at the famous village of Khumjung where you can visit a monastery to view a Yeti Scalp (only in Nepal!).

Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

An easy walk down to Lukla for the final night's stay in the Everest region. You will have time to explore Lukla and to relax before your flight the following morning.

Day 7: Lukla - Kathmandu

You will take a return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu where you can relax and reflect on your incredible experiences and achievements.

This evening, you will enjoy a final, farewell dinner with your guide and group members.
